Brickell is high-rise Miami, and most of our residential work here is inside luxury condos. Condo integration is a different problem than a single-family home, with HOA rules, post-tension concrete, and limits on wall penetrations that we design around for the buildings we know.
Panorama Tower, Brickell Flatiron, Echo, Icon Brickell, One Thousand Museum, SLS Brickell, Reach and Rise at Brickell City Centre, the Bond, 1010 Brickell, Villa Magna, and older stock like Santa Maria, Bristol Tower, and Jade Brickell. On Brickell Key we have worked in Asia, Carbonell, Isola, and One Tequesta Point. If your building is not listed here it usually means the process is similar, and we will confirm before starting.
For any wall penetration, rack placement, or structural attachment, the association wants an engineer-stamped drawing, insurance certificates, and a scheduled move-in of equipment. We produce the drawings, carry the insurance, and coordinate with the building's engineer and concierge on your behalf. If your board requires a preview presentation we will make it. Our goal is that you never receive a stop-work notice from your building.
Brickell towers are built with post-tension concrete slabs and reinforced concrete walls. Consumer WiFi routers do not reach through post-tension concrete. Even a large three or four bedroom condo can have dead zones a mesh system will not solve. We design condo networks with wired access points in the right rooms, small in-wall access points where drywall allows, and a properly configured controller, so you walk through the whole home without dropped calls or streaming interruptions.
Some buildings do not permit wall penetrations at all. In those cases we design a wireless-first automation system that still gives the owner reliable control of lighting, shades, thermostats, audio, and video. Lutron RA3, Control4 wireless, and Basalte wireless keypads all belong to this class of design. Battery-powered motorized shades and wireless lighting keypads make a full retrofit possible in a building that will not let us open a single wall.
A Brickell condo with west or south exposure gets hot fast, and the standard building shade solution is usually inadequate. We retrofit motorized shades that meet HOA aesthetic requirements from the street side, that connect to the automation system, and that follow the sun automatically. Lutron and Hunter Douglas are our default choices, with battery-powered shades for buildings that will not allow wall power runs.
Many Brickell residents split their time between Miami and another country. That means media systems that handle satellite feeds from multiple regions, streaming apps that authenticate to accounts abroad, and network configurations that give the client the video and content they actually watch. We can also configure virtual private networks that let a client in Miami reach their home country broadcasts through their television, not just a laptop.
A significant share of Brickell residents run their business from home. That calls for proper video conferencing setups (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet), acoustically appropriate rooms, real bandwidth from the Internet Service Provider (ISP), redundant Internet on a separate ISP, and IT security appropriate for the value of what is being discussed on the calls. We handle office AV integration inside the residence.
Crestron, Control4, and Savant condo systems. Lutron RA3 and Homeworks. Sonos and Basalte audio. Kaleidescape and Apple TV video. Motorized shades. IP camera systems, where the HOA permits. Managed networks with enterprise WiFi and network segmentation (VLAN). Home office AV and video conferencing.

Tell us which building you are in and what you want the technology to do. We will confirm the association process for your tower and follow up to talk through next steps.
For a condo already built out we can retrofit whole-house automation, audio, video, lighting control, motorized shades, and networking, wired where the building allows it and wireless where it does not. For a pre-construction unit we can plan the low-voltage design before the developer's finishes are locked in.
