Interseckt wins Crestron Integration Award

Interseckt wins a Crestron Award in the Creative GUI category for the work at the Ritz-Carlton Residences Miami Beach project.

We were approached by the developer of the Ritz-Carlton Residences to design a technology system for their new sales center in Miami Beach, FL. The scope of the project included the engineering of the systems that will support the personnel working in the building as well as the design of an interactive presentation that Realtors will use to sell the residential units. We designed a Crestron system that operates the lights, security, access control, audiovisual, and presentation systems. A Crestron touch screen at the front desk operates the building infrastructure. From there the user can operate all of the principal functions of the system. Realtors operate several iPad that are custom configured to operate the various video screens throughout the sales center. The Crestron app gives users the power to display one of the many videos and images of the project. In addition, the system also controls the LED lights within the mock units in the physical project model via a DMX module. The model has over 150 lights, one in each apartment and featured area. We also designed a state of the art theater room where prospective clients can view a video presentation on a 147″ projection screen. Users start the movie instantly from a conveniently placed wall keypad. Lastly, a Crestron CP3N communicates with all the video displays, DigitalMedia system, and other equipment directly over the network for fast and very reliable performance.
